NAMPA
Literally 'soft-type boys' I understand.
I understand those are the boys who find
pleasure in chasing girls most of the time.
The verb form NAMPA-SURU is 'go girl hunting',
'talk to girls on the street into dating',
something like that.
Are there any similar slang words in English?
Thank you.

I have a Southern gentleman friend who calls it "trolling for women". You can also say "a skirt-chaser" but this is out-of-date slang.
Thank you.

Interestingly, Itasan, a 'soft' man in English sounds a bit like a weakling. Here in Malaysia, referring to a man as 'soft' is a way of saying he is gay without spelling it out.
I prefer the term 'ladies' man' to describe a man (ahem - like me) who has a way with the ladies.

The formal term is a philanderer. The Turks have a word "Merganda" which is highly derogatory. Even when it was still a current term, "cad" didn't mean quite the same thing - bit old-fashioned now, even archaic.

Also the term philanderer is more likely to be used for a more mature (age) man, rather than a younger man (boy).
Other terms might include
'a bit of a lad' (although this relates to all forms of misbehaviour)
'a skirt chaser'
'fanny chaser' (offensive use fo English)
'hound dog / a hound'
'a bit smooth/ a bit of a smoothie'
There are hundreds and although many use offensive English, they would be taken by most males as a sideways complement.
