Unfortunately wikipedia has been unavailable, to me, for over a month now.

I live in mainland China.

Have you fallen out with anybody over content?

No, this link is okay. It must be your ISP or connection in China. Check with them.

I read recently that certain websites are not available by request of the chinese government.

This was reportedly one of the problems raised when one of the big search engines came into China.
The solution was to remove certain links.

Big search engines have big budgets and can do this.
It would be nice if others could follow suit.

I think this is the issue for wiki.

I have different ISP in work and lost wiki from home and work at the same time.

This is really sad as wiki was a major resource for esl in China.
