in/on .... Drive

"They were found in a house in Willenhall Drive, Hayes."
Does it become 'ON Willenhall Drive' in AmE?

needs more thought

In BrE we would also usually say 'on'. Although 'in' is often used interchangably with 'on'

Could be a bit like
the shop is on/in the High Street

Even if Wilenhall Drive is a cul-de-sac, i.e. closed at one end, in/on still works.

Both are natural useage in BrE
