Have you ever heard the term 'washlet(te)'?

I think it is the system that has bidets (one for women and the other for both men and women), usually with the warmed seat.

Maybe it's not real English. If so, what do you call that?

Thank you.

Hi Itasan

You got my curiosity going with your question. (I'd never heard of a 'washlet' before.)

My curiosity led me to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_toilet

Your 'washlet' is apparently quite rare outside Japan and the Wiki-people seem to like categorizing it as a 'high-tech toilet'. :D

Thank you for the information. I had thought it came from the West. I'm sure the basic idea came from the West. We just modified it.
What seems to be omitted in Wikipedia:
1. The water is warmed, usually.
2. The part where your body touches (I don't know what you call it) can be warmed as well.
