I got an assignment to tutor a Korean student:
he is in Gr.IX
he is smart
he is quiet
he needs varied materials
he is interested in architecture
I searched for architecture terminology on line, but could not find any specific website.
Does anybody know any useful URL please?
Thanks in advance!

How about the following website:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/buildingbig/

There's a glossary included, and the words are used in context.

The videos are excellent, too.

Thanks, Kate.

It's fun for me, too, full of stuff I always wanted to learn.

I even got non-English teachers to show the English videos in class, something that I'd never thought possible, because after all, their English is a good deal rustier than the students' and it took quite some self-confidence on their part to let themselves in for an experiment like that.

These teaching aids have been an enormous asset to me.

you could also wander by your local hardware website. they might have books to help. or just the various ads.
