'retiring at one's own request'
Here in this country, having been fired
(dismissed) by the employer is not a
good record and is unfavorable when
getting a new job.
Therefore, it is very important to state
that one's retirement was not the employer's
order but was at one's own request.
Is there any single term for this?
Just 'RESIGNATION'?

Thank you.

Yes - I've resigned

Itasan,

That is the word... Resignation is the noun and to resign is the verb.
Other words that might be helpful...

Fired / sacked - Employer forced you to leave
redundancy / made redundant - Employer is doing poorly and had to ask you to leave.
Retired - Left, because of old age and will now collect a pension.
