Hello,
I'm author/computer illustrator Bill Dallas Lewis. In the last 10 years , I've presented in 600 schools around the world in person. Now, I'm testing making my visits via video conferencing. I'm looking for a school that would like to try it for free.
You can see the details of the content of the presentation by going to;

my regular page is;

I'm only doing a few for free, so you might want to email me sometimes soon.

Put us first on your list!
Hi Bill,
Put us first on your list! What a lot of work goes into your work. What are the system requirments? How is it that you decided to post to Dave's? What will I need to ask our district technology director to do so that we can video conference in school? Using a combination of art and writing to teach ESL is a terrific idea. The kids get so wrapped up in the process that they forget they are learning!
Just last night I was asking myself what I could do after school with a group of Hmong teens at the high school. For those of you who don't know, the Hmong worked with the CIA during the Vietnam War. Western North Carolina has the fourth largest Hmong population in the US, and I think, the most successful group in the world. These kids love technology and art, and they have great stories to tell.
Thanks,
Kathy Felts
