Brilliant webquests and internet worksheets

Post by joeler1 » Fri May 27, 2005 5:54 pm

Please try and out my internet worksheets that I provide for free on my website: www.englishdatabase.com.... you'll find them all in the internet zone on my site 8)

I really enjoy using multimedia in the classroom and I have been lucky enough to work in some schools with good internet classrooms.

As a result I've developed a selection worksheets that get students using the internet in a productive way. All the lessons use fun websites like eBay, MTV, the BBC and many more to practice speaking and reading English. These worksheets work best in an internet classroom, but equally if you don't have those facilities they could also be given for homework and then studied in class.

To make the most of the worksheets print them out and get students to write all the information they find on the sheets. If they need any images they can print them out and cut and paste them (the old way!) onto their worksheets.

Because the students are using 'normal' English sites they need to have at least an intermediate knowledge of English to enjoy and benefit from the activities. All the worksheets come with a range of task-based activities getting the students to use their English away from the computers as well as on them  . I've also written complete teacher's notes.

Please use and enjoy the worksheets and give them a rating on the poll above  or write to me at: [email protected]
