Online comics and related activities - a new site

Post by Brian » Sun Dec 18, 2005 4:49 pm

Hi teachers,

I've just put a new website online.

There are comics with grammar-related content for EFL students.

Each comic has a follow-up quiz/puzzle which encourages the students to read again, looking for clues and answers.

Elsewhere on the same site there are games, downloadable goodies, reading materials, a reading game, character biographies, jokes, word of the day and more ... all free

The site is... http://www.grammarmancomic.com

You could use the site in the classroom (if you have an interactive whiteboard) or in a CALL room. Or you could give the URL to the students so that they can practice English in their free time.

I've already posted the URL in the literature section and the student forum, but I wanted to reach as many people as possible.

Thanks, and hope you enjoy it

Brian
