Dear Friednds,
Today there is a considerable number of online degrees and courses offered by different universities.This a good thing as some overseas students cannot afford the expenses of traditional education.Are they accerdited? Do people in the workplace have a good idea about online degrees? Your responses are very important.I just thought it was wise to ask you before joining these online programmes.Thanks in advance.

Be careful of the degrees program you choose I have personally had
a lot of problems with this issue,
those degrees can be used for your Job resume, or to use as a title in your passport/ID/Credit card...etc. The degree cannot be used for future studies in other Institutes.

I can highly recommend the OU, specialists in Open and Distance learning.

I am curently doing the MA Education Applied Linguistics.
This is accredited. OU is about 40 years old.

They do olots of teaching courses and degrees. Almost all can be studied in EU, limited number can be studied worldwide.

Generally, it's a bad thing for the profession, but a good thing for teachers to get additional certifications that are required more and more often for jobs that they are very qualified for without the paper.

Imho, if you are looking for a cheap way to get a better job, it's not for you. However, if you are a good teacher who wants better working conditions, then by all means do it.
