I cannot find any of the old posts and nobody is posting now. Does that tell you how difficult this is to use. No posts here for a number of days and no posts on the applied linguistics site. :( The way to have improved this site was put a spell check on it.

Halloo!
Yeess, Rather spartan, isn't it? Feels a bit like a ghost town  . Maybe when people can be bothered to get round to doing the application procedure (bit of a slog!) things will pick up.

zzzzzI guess total newcomers will find nothing wrojng with it, and us oldies need to readapt to new times. We were born in the last century!
I like the security features here, plus the fact that the names of the moderators are now visible.
Are there fewer posts? Maybe so, but they will snowball into an avalanche as in the past.
I have one negative comment about the threads: Some of them keep growing long, to which I would not object; however, you must scroll down from the original post to the last one if you want to keep abreast of opinions expressed. That takes a bit of extra time.
