Summer jobs abroad for qualified educators?

Post by Kwon270 » Fri Oct 13, 2006 4:53 am

I know this may be a bit early to think of these things as I'm just getting the school year into swing, but does anyone know of a good place to find summer job listings for ESL abroad? I am looking to do something in another country. My big problem is that most of the programs I see aren't looking for professional or qualified ESL teachers (I have an MA in ESL Education and am currently working as a teacher in NYC).

I am wide open on this one - really just looking for a good opportunity in a place where I am reasonably supported and can do some good and experience something new.

A paid position would be ideal, but I wAny suggestions or help would be greatly apprreciated. I am very open to volunteer positions as well.

Hi :D
I worked at a summer camp last summer. It was great. I got paid on time even got food allowance the first day of school.
I worked from July 17th to Aug. 6th. you can work longer if you want you get more $$
I'm going back next summer.
It is in China. You have to pay your way here but I think you will make enough $$ to go back and even travel around China.
you can email me at [email protected]
write summer camp in subject field.
good luck
