I arrived in China December 2006 having been recruited by ESL American Centre (Matt McKyle) with their mottot Changchun Middle School needs you know. I arrived to find i was posted between two different agencys and there was no such school listed in Changchun. I was further informed on arrival in Changchun that my work would not start until March 2007 with first pay 20 April 2007. The contract offered now is completely sifferent than that offered to me byu ESL American centre in UK. Accommodationwas a disgrace and it was a saviour that i had some money with me or i would have been in serius trouble. There are three or four other teacher with the same experince at present and perhaps more in the past. ESL American Centre Matt McKyle and a Mr Won will not answer my e mails or telephone calls.
Please be aware of these people.
