Hello, there:
I am new on the forum.
I need to teach children who are 9~11 years old writing. I have no idea how to motivate them.
I want to let them make a story with pictures in class. However, it's hard for me to find the pictures.
May I ask your help?
Thanks a lot!
Looking for some pictures

Can they draw their own pictures and then write a story to go with the picture? That way you don't have to find anything and they will have something interesting that really motivates them. They can then read their story to another student and so on.
If you really want pictures you can go to enchantedlearning.com. They have excellent pictures for all different subjects.
I got pictures of cartoon characters for my students this age in Greenland. It seems that Donald Duck has a large family and so you can learn family words - mother, father, uncle, nephews and so on.

The students loved the Japanese cartoons of Pokemon and they have many characters. I printed the main characters, one to a page, in black and white and we copied the comic colours for their costumes. That provided us with colour words and names of clothing, parts of the body and action words. "He is fighting. She is driving a motorcycle." and so on. We made a booklet and many of them put the pictures on their walls at home at the end of the lessons.
