I've taught a 2nd grade unit on Korea and would like my students to be able to send some very simple basic letters in English to Elem students in Korea.
Anyone have a class we can write to???
letter exchange in Korea?

EPALS is an effective way to connect with other classes
Lets face it, sending 20 letters a month from one country to another costs money. Maybe you could put all the letters in one first class envelope for $15 or something, but even if you don't mind paying that, it will be difficult to find another teacher who will not mind, too.
EPALS is totally free! You just need to understand the basics of email management, which most people can handle. When I posted my Korean class, about 10 schools emailed me to connect, so I think there are more Western schools looking to connect with Eastern schools. That's cool with me because I have a whole school I can connect on there (although that's a lot of work).
You will connect with a class in the country of your choice with the purpose of your choice. Then, your students write simple emails once a month about culture or language. You can write as often or about whatever you and your corresponding class chose to. I even do a teddy bear exchange with one class!
I am sure there are pleanty of other options. Hope you find what you are looking for.
