Total Mental Response

Post by tdeprato » Mon May 31, 2004 10:52 am

This is my first post on this board. I just wrote a paper recently that is
directed at teaching children. I would appreciate any feedback you might have.

The title is "Total Mental Response" and you can find it here

Click or copy paste that link. I know it looks strange but it is legit. There are no ads of any kind or pop-ups.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Although I don't teach kids, I have had a couple, and I appreciate the insights you have found. I also wandered through the link to www.stager.org and read some of the papers in the "Dr. Seymour Papert" link. It's nice to know that work is being done in this area by all of you.

Stager was my professor and he is a real handful in class, but he has done some really amazing things in the face of doubt. I recommend a book my Pappert called "The Childrens Machine"-- it is a great read.

Thanks for reading!
