I know in my experiences learning languages I've always regressed a little during summer vacation. Does your school have a summer program? If not, is there any you do or recommend for your students?

Jeff, I think that is a great idea, though I'm not familiar with any such programs geared specifically to language learning. I do know that many urban charter schools have summer programs for their students, perhaps some of which do serve ELLs. I think though that at least living in primarily English speaking countries like the US, ELLs would at least keep developing their BICS during the summer, just due to exposure.
