Equpiment and any advice for a complete beginner

Hi
I have no qualifications as a teacher and in a month am about to go to Peru to teach english set up by an organisation in Australia
We were given some tips in teaching but on most matters i have little to no idea
like how many pens / texta's/ other stationary do you need to keep a class of 25 occupied?
any help will be greatly appreciated - i have already looked at the site for some ideas for games which has been really helpful
