Hi! I'm a Japanese teacher of English at high school. I have to do research on the English education system in other countries. I'd like to ask you some questions. Please help me!!1. What country are you from?
2. Is English compulsory in your country?
3. When do students start to study English?
4. How many years do they study English conpulsory?
5. Who teach English, native speakers or not?
6. Do teachers speak only English in the classes?
7. Which aspect do teachers focus on most? (reading, writing, listening, speaking)
8.Do they teach English grammar systematically?
9. In reading classes, do teachers ask students to translate sentences into your native language?
10. What are main incentives to study English in your country? (to get a good job, or to pass an entrance exam..)
