Introducing grammar

Post by Lliana » Tue Aug 23, 2005 8:37 pm

Hello again.
Suppose (again) you start a new unit in your coursebook and this deals with a new grammatical point (eg. some/any, present simple etc). Children are 10-12. There's only a text or a dialogue in your book, no grammar explanation, no examples, nothing, just that piece of writing. You can, of course, provide pupils with photocopies, extra material etc. How would you introduce that new piece of grammar?
(If the question is difficult, how do you usually introduce new grammar?)

Thanks

Liana
