Help...Teaching Predictions

Post by csapp » Thu Jan 19, 2006 11:13 pm

Hi everyone-

I am a pre-service teacher and have to teach my first grade class about predictions. I am looking for different ways to teach it besides stopping half-way through the book and asking them what they think will happen or have them draw a picture. Does anyone have any ideas??? I would really appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks :D

Hi

I've just come across a neat book called Designing learning for diverse classrooms. It works pretty well in lots of different contexts. It has a section on prediction and how you can go about it.
