Pull-out ESL U.S. Public school

Post by AgathiP04 » Wed Sep 17, 2003 5:36 pm

I teach ESL in a urban public school. It is a kindergarten through eighth grade school, with about 26% of the student body being ESL, from around 30 different countries. I teach kindergarten through third grade ESL. I am trained and licensed in early childhood education and am currently working on my TESL endorsement. I have the patience to carry out this job, but I am running out of lesson ideas and structure because I don't have much support at my school. I love my students, but I just don't know how or what to teach them. Another factor to this whole equation is this is my first year as a teacher. Any ideas? I need help! :(
