Just look at this!!!

Don't ask me how I got to this, but you know how it is in YouTube, you look for something and one movie brings to another and so on:)

I was looking for something funny for my site and found this clip. It's adorable for young children, probably 4-5th grades (EFL or ESL). Look at the English translation at the top. First you learn the words and movements, and then you teach them in the class. You can change the English to make it appropriate for the little guys, and if there are very talented among them, even doing the dance in that "canon" style, it's a blast!!! (Kids most of the time surprise us with their ability to make things that seem difficult to us, and the canon style is doable, in my opinion).

Using your creativity and so many free resources in the web, plus ideas from books and forums, there's no need to spend money buying expensive programs. Enjoy! :D

Thank you so much for letting me know! It sometimes happens on YouTube... I've just looked for it and found many, under different names.

This is exactly the same clip, same dance, but under the name:

"Algorithm March"

(and it is hilarious :D )

I can see a mass of headbutts, kneed noses, extruded eyeballs (shihon nukite!) etc etc possibly resulting from doing that - that, or the teacher jumping out the window! :P 8)

HAHAHA fluffy!!! Image

I can see the scene!

Don't do it in Japan, then :D (I'm joking, of course!)

Among all the comments there, look at these two, though:

yourmom9883 (10 hours ago) We learned this in Japanese class!
I love it!

lena7213 (6 days ago) At school my teacher found this and we learned the march, It was pretty awesome! :P

:D
(I know, these are not elementary school, but I guess 6th graders would be OK).

I watch this all the time with my daughter. There is another version called algorithm taiso (exercise) that's a little simpler. Here's a link http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xxbfr_ ... robots_fun (sorry the video quality isn't the best but it's got robots) I had the same idea for using this in my elementary school classes but couldn't think up any simple English lyrics.
