I'm in the same boat, myself. Here are some things, some good, most not. Unfortunately, there is not much of use (at least not much which I've found). PM me for more if you'd like.

help! This is getting to be a nightmare!
Context - teaching potential tour guides on the Isla del Sol on Lake Titicaca (Bolivia) - most have shaky Spanish - generally speak Aymara - low literacy rate - but these guys know what they are talking about. Does anyone know where we can get general simple phrases, etc. If not I will have to write the course and I don't have time!
Anyone there want to come and teach?
