ESL Teaching in city public schools--Job Satisfaction?

ESL Teaching in city public schools--Job Satisfaction?

I am thinking about going to graduate school to either teach high school English or ESL (Get a TESOL.) Is anyone on this board teaching ESL in a major US city? (NY, Boston, San Francisco.) I'm in NY. Any feedback as far as job satisfaction etc? I've tutored ESL college students and really enjoyed it, but that was more or less one on one. Thanks!
