A study conducted on a corpus of teenage speech, collected in London in the 1980's, shows that the word "just" is the most frequent lexeme after you know and like in the speech of English adolescents" - coming soon to a conversation near you!

If it was used by teenagers in the 80s surely it has been in conversations near us for the last ten years at least.

This language advisory appears somewhat out of date.
