I notice that you are dominating the business English forum. Most of the threads you start are individual words or phrases. This makes it difficult for those of us who are looking for posts on things other than these individual words and phrases.

Many of these phrases are not even 'business English.'

Do you think you could make it a little easier to read the forum and try to limit the number of new threads you start? For example, you could start a thread called 'driving covabulary' and ask about ten different phrases, rather than posting ten individual threads on the subject. Even better yet, you could put these questions in a more closely related forum since this is a business English forum.

This issue has been brought to Itasan's attention before. The general consensus (somewhat strangely) is that despite the space he's taking up, there's nothing ultimately "wrong" with what he's doing. Personally, I don't know what'ss so hard for him to understand regarding the logic (and benefits) of making related posts in single threads...but then, if you look closely over time, most of his posts aren't really that related (I get the impression he is a bit of a scattershot learner and compulsive dictionary browser), so if he did confine himself to just a couple of threads they'd probably end up so messy we might then start wishing he'd started more threads rather than less! A bit of a no-win situation, really (for those who might want to browse through his posts at their leisure).

Ah, but I think I might have thought of a solution of sorts: hey, Itasan, how about building up a file of queries and organizing them somewhat before posting them together as a large batch (Batch number 666 etc)?

As teachers, we should always encourage learners when they have questions, and we all love our Itasan.

But, Itasan, if you submit questions in batches of 5 or 10, we'll love you more.
