Any idea on working as English Teacher in Malaysia?

Can anyone give information on the remuneration of teaching in Malaysia and its benefits, culture, etc? A college in Malaysia is looking for English teacher. For more details, go to this URL:

Generally speaking Malaysia doesn't pay particularly well for ESL teachers and most come here for other reasons.

The pay scale for EFL teachers is as follows:

Lowest about RM2400
Average RM3000 - 4000 (Depending on benefits)
British Council RM7000

Also it is quite difficult to get a Visa here, as a minimum you'll need a first degree and 2 years experience. Not all employers are happy to get them and will hire you illegally, saying they'll get a visa for you on arrival, which may or may not be true...
