Topic suggestions for Learning Vocabulary Can Be Fun

Post by jrichman » Tue Oct 31, 2006 4:43 pm

Hi Everyone!

I would like to add new topics to my Learning Vocabulary
Can Be Fun site at:
http://www.vocabulary.co.il

The Hangman and Word Search Games have 180 topics and
it is getting hard for me to come up with new topics.

Each new topic I add must have at least 25 related words
from 3 letters to 12 letters in length.

If your have a suggestion for a topic that I do not have,
please email me. I would like to add at least 10 new topics
by the end of November.

Thanks for the help!

Have a good day,
Jacob

Hi Jacob

Your vocab site is excellent. I especially liked the crosswords - that's super slick. How did you do it? Is it Flash?

Thanks.
Yes, the games were developed in Flash by a freelance programmer.
The questions / answers were done by teachers.
There is a large database of questions / words and the system
creates a new game with random word selections each time.
Have a good week,
Jacob

So Jacob

I'd love to get something cool like that for www.grammarmancomic.com ... did it cost you a lot of money?

And once the actual mechanics of the game was in place, was it just a matter of adding new words to the database to make as many different game possibilities as you wanted?
