Health and Sickness Flashcards

Post by yoda » Sun Feb 29, 2004 3:20 am

I was asked to make some materials on the subject of health for students who are going to study abroad. In particular, materials emphasizing vocabulary related to health issues were requested --and not just the usual stomachache, cold, and sore throat vocabulary. Our first set of materials is a set of flashcards, which are posted here:

It is by no means a complete listing of vocabulary related to simple ailments but it is a lot more extensive than the resources out there. I recommend using the card game to prepare students who are going abroad for a period of time.

:? What kind of games do you think are useful with teenagers learning English at school? what kind of activities can I propose to students who are always bored and show no interest in learning?
Thanks for you suggestions
