Please share any general Business English topics you've found successful in generating class conversation (i.e. describing jobs, corporate culture, sales lingo, etc.). Also list your favorite Business English text-books (for ESL learners of course!).

Hi.

What are the levels of your students? Depending on the level, there are different things that I have found useful.

One thing that works for just about every level and is always able to become more and more complex is to have them tell each other about a typical day, or one specific day.

This is incredibly useful in business English because it is when they are able to tell you about what they do at their jobs everyday that you have given them the English that they need most. The fact of value recognition tends to keep students interested.
