Can anyone help with information on TEFL franchising ?

Post by DanV » Wed Aug 24, 2005 7:03 pm

I've recently been lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to set up and run a franchise for my current employer, a small private language school in the english countryside. However, neither I or nor my employer have been involved in franchising before, so I'd be really grateful if anyone knows anything about the usual contracts made between franchiser and franchisee, or alternatively, can point me in the direction of any useful sites that might help.

thanks in advance.

The DTI has a their Buisness link website, for small businesses. There is I believe a page on franchises, as well as lots of stuff about setting up your own small buisness. Developing your business plan and a list of tasks you should complete when setting up a business.
There are also franchise websites, some carry andvice and tips on avoi8ding pitfalls.
