Can't Read, Can't Write

Post by fluffyhamster » Tue Jul 22, 2008 3:11 pm

Did anyone else watch the first part of this new three-part series on Channel 4 last night? I found it a bit worrying that in the whole of the UK, apparently Phil Beadle is the only person considered even remotely capable of teaching literacy (in this case, to adults, though that is ultimately just incidental).

Nah, it was back to Blighty for me, Woody old chap. Took one too many in the jacksy from those damned dispatchers, what! Can't say I'll miss those nattou-breathed fiends!
