Does anyone have any experience with EF in Casablanca? Any comments on working conditions and general atmosphere? Anything to beware of?
Also, is there a good fitness center nearby? |

EF in Casa has a reputation of being a good language school. Yes, there's a large fitness center just next door. I saw their posting. The only thing I'd make sure about is whether the salary they're offering is before or after taxes. Casa can be expensive.

I worked there during their first year, from 1998-1999.
Had to work six days a week.
Taught different classes: kids, TOEFL, intensive, people from the phone company and from the airport.
I learned a lot about teaching, and I paid my dues there.
They didn`t have air conditioning so we had to open the windows.
I used to sweat profusely there.
At the time the dollar was strong and the dirham was weak. It must have dropped 10% to the dollar. If you don`t have debts the pay is ok (was about $900), but I did so it sucked.
I only got to travel to Rabat and couldn`t go to other places I would have liked to, like to the desert.
Find out if you have to pay for utilities. |
