Hi,

I am looking to start teaching English in Sao Paulo in August (must make sure I don't make any grammatical mistakes in this posting!!)

I am currently in Mexico and was thinking of coming down in November after teaching here for a while. However, with the combination of my current job not providing enough hours and the thought that November is not a good month to look for work in Brazil, I am considering bringing it forward to August.

So a couple of quick questions:
a) Can anyone recommend any universities in SP where I can learn Portuguese part-time and they'll provide the paperwork necessary for a student visa?
b) Any (good) language schools in Sao Paulo? Particularly if you know they are looking for new staff!!

If any employers are reading this... I am English and have a TEFL certificate (4 week course approved by Education Dept, Mexico - SEP) but only a months experience at present. I am on a sabbatical from my job as an IT Architect with a major company in the IT industry (guess who) until August 2006 and am preferably looking for a job until (at least) then.
