Like I said, many CDI workers I know get pension and airfare and make about 1.7x more than your standard hagwon after rent. No severance though and the vacation time is unpaid. Benefits to both sides, all depends what your priorities are.

Yeah, my airfare got covered too . . . I didn't get pension, but I think that's because I'm American . . .

It's now come to the point that CDI is actually paying LESS than your average hogwon.

You know, I've heard that . . . especially with the "branchises" who try to just pay you a flat monthly (seems like 2.2 - 2.5, but they're furnshing an apartment too and all the other perks) . . . I have talked to some people who recently got decent offers of like 27 to 30,000 per hour . . . With branchises, I definetly think the pay will be like any other hagwon and it might be getting that way with the branches too . . .

we will accept your apology, but it should be noted that we call it the "university of michigan".
"UM" or "Michigan" for short.

hahhaha . . . are you from Michigan???--I've seen a lot of your posts, but I had no idea you might be from up there? (or were you out of state) . . . yeah, to be honest, I can't really think of anyone who calls a place So-and-so U . . . well, unless they're in their sixties . . . Don't worry, I never have called it anything but Michigan in real life!!! Scout's honor!!! Very Happy
