Right I was at TechnoMart today and was quoted about 180k for a 40gb hard drive with portable USB 2.0 case.

Think I'll go with that after the next paycheque.

Sounds like an okay price, but you might get it cheaper at Yongsan.

But being a lazy little man like I am, I'll stick with Technomart - only two stops from my station (jamsil). Smile

Okay, but doing some quick math. . .

You could get a 120 gb drive and a hard case for 200,000 at Yongsan (I just picked up a 120 gb drive for 104,000, and Rand saw some cases for 78,000.

Really??

Never been to Yongsan before. Where about would I find 120GB hard drives so cheap? Widespread or a particular stall/shop?

Lemon's Excellent Guide

In my experience the best place is the Sunin. Any floor there will have loads of drives and cases.

Widespread. Stick with Yongsan. Technomart is the cottage of the Devil.

Actually, I know Yongsan like the back of my hand.

It's excellent because it's to describe things to other people.
