Hi,
Is an flight agency airport-issued voucher still needed to use the free Bahrain parking next to the airport? That was the case in the past but I've heard that a voucher isn't needed anymore....just show your flight tickets.

| That's all I did the last time I visited. The number of visitor from the magic kingdom has declined so much because of the social unrest that any visitors are welcome. They are doing their best to lure the expats that work in the eastern provinces back to Bahrain to spend their weekends. Many of us now go to Qatar but it is much more expensive. Bahrain has hotel bargains at the moment. Hotels in Qatar charge way too much, even the 3 star hotels cost 500 riyals a night! |

| I don't visit Qatar b/c of the unreasonable visa fee ($50) while Bahrain is just the cost of the causeway + car insurance. |

What happened to the free parking @ Bahrain airport?? Everything is paid. The cheapest is the long-term parking @ 1BD/day. That's OK for a few days but it is too much for months on end.
What happened?
