I have heard recently that companies - particularly SRACO - can not be trusted!
Can anybody working for SRACO and other contractors please comment!

They wanted me to interview in Houston and promised to reimburse the expenses. They steadfastly refused to pay the expenses and now I am warning anyone with common sense to avoid SRACO like the plague. I would like to also add that I would kick an empty bean can down the road for a great many miles before I would take up employment with either SRACO or any of the vast majority of companies who hire ESL teachers in Saudi.

Yes, even when they tell you something, you arrive and reality is different! They know you are stuck in a foreign country and can do little about it!!
Even what you have in writing means very little!!
SRACO say they pay for interim visas but they DON'T!
They say you are paid from the day you arrive - You are NOT!
They put you up in a very poor hotel and MAKE YOU PAY!!! (Oh, SRACO own the hotel!)
One Canadian guy arrived (several years' experience in Middle East) and found out all their lies and asked to leave! They kept him in the hotel for two weeks - made him pay for EVERYTHING!!!! hiring/medical/interview costs in Canada + the hotel for two weeks + all visa fees + return flight ticket! Until he had paid everything, they wouldn't get him an exit visa or give his passport back!! Welcome to the wonderful world of SRACO!
This forum is the only weapon to fight back at these people!
