Hi,
I haven't worked at EF Weihai, but have worked at EF Yantai which is the sister school about 30 miles down the coast. The schools are owned by a company that owns a lot of non EF schools in Shandong (Baowei I think). The orginisation is well funded, the school has the latest computers and classroom layout. The DOS is experienced and it should be a decent bet. I wouldn't turn down the chance to spend a year there. I hope to work there or in Yantai again starting in the summer. I'm taking a break after a 4 year stretch in china working for EF.
Weihai is a bit quiet but clean and with the expected western style chain restaurants pizza hut, KFC, stone cold ice cream etc. Its good for swimming and running/walking along the coast. (I only spent a day there). The air is clean.
If you are looking for a small town experience and a fairly quiet relaxed life in your free time why not.
It's not Shanghai though.
