| I hope that I didn't sound racist. There are good Saudi managers; however, I haven't seen them working in education. |

| Oh, no, I didn't think you were racist at all. But it's not exactly the case that Saudi management doesn't work. Rather, the combination of US capitalism and Saudi traditionalism is not a happy mix when it comes to education. (It was quite a useful combination combating the Soviets when they occupied Afghanistan--remember that?) |

Maybe I was just lucky, but I have. In fact, I knew three or four that were among the best I've ever worked for anywhere.
