So, I've been teaching for ten years now, three in Taiwan, seven in China.

I have a BA degree and a CELTA, teach Oral English at a uni and do IELTS examining.

Thing is, I want to move into teacher training and (school) management, with an eye to possibly opening a school in the future.

What distance degree or online course would you suggest?

DELTA is the best-known and has a solid reputation, particularly for teacher trainers and DOS/managment. I think it can be done mostly by distance, but there is a practicum required, I believe. A bit of hassle, but worth it from the professional side.

I can't comment on what it's like now since so much time has passed. But I really enjoyed it. I work at a public institution and was department head for a time. I felt that this course helped me with that-though it was quite geared towards the for profit language school side of the industry.
