Has anyone ever contacted the Saudi Consulate in the US/UK or US Consulate in the KSA for information on potential employers?
..this is *prior* to going to the KSA...
Is there a specific format to request information from them?
...do they even deal with requests like asking about a Saudi company's reputation/whether they have any warnings/complaints about that company?
Is there some form of "Better Business Bureau" in the KSA? |

| Uh, no. The consulate doesn't keep track of these businesses (nor probably care). I seriously doubt such a service exists in KSA, and if the info could be trusted. Seriously. But I could be wrong. I suggest you rely on your gut feeling and your own research based on Internet searches and the experiences of others posted on forums like this one. It's your judgment call. |

Did you hear all the laughter in the distance when we all read this one.  Nope... as a teacher there, you are basically an indentured servant at best and a slave at worst.
The Saudi embassy (or pretty much any embassy in any country including our own) will be about zero help on this one... or maybe less.
