				| I'm putting together the required info for the "APPLICATION FOR AUTHENTIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS" form I received from the SACM. However, one of the lines has me puzzled:
 ___Verification from www.degreeverify.com or www.degreechk.com

Isn't this supposed to be something the employer, or embassy in this situation, would obtain? What am I missing here?

I did e-mail my question directly to the contact person at the SACM but this forum is probably a better and faster resource.

 Thanks.

				| You're responsible for obtaining your university info off of DegreeVerify. You'll need a credit card to register---using the service will set you back $6.50 per inquiry. Once you input your school info, the system will produce a "DegreeVerify Certificate" with specific info about your degree, attendance dates, graduation date, etc. Print out the certificate; you'll need to send it along with a copy of your degree, notarized authorization, and all the other stuff the SACM requires. | |

				| OK. So not only do I have to send them sealed transcripts, they also want this? The Golden Rule in action here: He who has the gold makes the rules.
Can you tell me anything about getting the police report?

 Thanks.

				| I obtained my certified police report from my state's bureau of investigations. Just printed the form off their website and mailed it in with $13. You might be able to get yours quickly as a walk-in. | |
