It seems to be getting worse rather than better too... all that seems to change is how each "tribe" is delineated.

I've had second thoughts about applying to this Uni after reading the thread. Any suggestions where I could apply in Bahrain. 20 yrs teaching English on a university level,TESOL certified and many years in ME. |

Does it need to be Bahrain? First there are very few jobs, plus it is the country with most unrest and political issues that will intrude on your job.
I'd look at the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, or Oman.

At this point in my mid-life (ranging on the late side), I'm prepared to bounce around from one bad job to the next. I'm lacking the patience to put up with the *^#* anymore. I've trained myself to look at these jobs as holidays which have gone bad. Time to move on. |
