What happened to the Lang Sols teachers was totally disgusting.
Everyone who joined the project in October 2011 was told that the contract would run for a minimum of 10 months, and that contracts would be renewable. This is a matter of record.
Almost all of the Lang Sols teachers gave up other jobs (and lives) to go to Qatar, only to find out that they (and Lang Sols) had been led down the garden path, and that QP had only intended to employ them for 3 months, all along.
In this little tale of shame the blame lies 100% with QP, and QP only.
Given the fact that I was one of these poor suckers, my honest advice to anyone thinking of taking a job with QP, or any of their contractors is......don't!
QP have a long track record of sudden mass teacher cullings, and along with many other issues, including the nature and behaviour of the trainees........ this is really one to avoid. |
