There is honor even among thieves. Why should the teaching profession be any different? You have a job to do and there are inherent codes you recognize or abide with or chaos would be normal. You would NEVER approve of a teacher having sexual relations with a teenager still in high school and underage, why should this change and be discriminatory? You're still a teacher with a responsibility. Business and pleasure don't mix.

You go to work to put your skills to the test and contribute to a community. There are ethics, politics, and codes both written and unwritten. If you're not there to do work or have motives led by grotesque sexual ideas of conquest.. you really need to take a look at and evaluate your inner being.

I'd say adverbs weren't the only thing that failed you on that last post of yours. I really can't see why Sara Avalon's message would rate such a
crass and vulgar reply. If you disagree with what she wrote, why not compose a well thought out rebuttal?
What you DID post was, in addition to the adjectives (which didn't fail me) mentioned above, totally useless.

What's a 'buttal' anyway? Does one first have to butt something before rebutting it? Or is a 'rebuttal' just posterial cosmetic surgery?

I suspect that what Leeroy was trying to say is that Sara's quasi-regal posturing flabbered his gast.

Deviance is a variation from social mores, norms and/or morals.

The man at the root of all of this may very well be normal within his own circle of friends, and tame compared to others, but when placed into broader society he is deviant in his practices.

Wow. And here I hadn't even bothered to read any post save for Capergirl's original one and responded with frankness and honesty. Maybe I should have skimmed the pages of BS to double check how overheated this conversation was when I put my pot of popcorn on the stove. I have a kernel in my eye. Wink

But this just proves the original post, doesn't it? Honestly.. who in their professional minds would ever be so childish? Certainly the unqualified of course. Hardly the ones we should turn to for answers about correct social behavior (or moral for that matter).
