Just for those who would like to see this film ,be warned the dialogue is in Hebrew with Turkish subtitles . Although I would have sat through the whole thing my partners who understand Turkish better than I thought the whole exercise was pointless so we left after about 20 minutes and asked for the chance to see another film another night ,no problem .
İnteresting that the film was shown here at this time of year, whatever next? Easter eggs !
I wonder how the Americans will like the idea of reading subtitles, will it be their kind of English or one of the others ?

I think you'll find it's in Aramaic and Latin, not Hebrew. You could get a DVD which would probably have English subtitles.

The only positive thing about the whole film was actually being able to understand some of the Latin. İt was ırenc! Unless you are a sado-masochist of course.......

Mel gets his anti-Semitism from his daddy. It goes to show that the nut never falls far from the tree. forget spending money to see this tripe, I wouldn't accept payment to go.

I've seen the movie and I'd hardly call it anti-Semitic. Anyone can see that it is a small group of Jews (Pharisees) that riles up the crowd to convince Pilate to crucify Jesus. The movie also correctly shows that the majority of Jews did not go along with and were against the sentencing. If you want to believe it is anti-Semitic, I'm sure you could convince yourself of it.
