Nicole was on David Letterman last nite--very classy, very funny. Could someone help me to turn this into a thread that is relevant to ESL--without, if possible, bringing in Capergirl, whom I would clss in the same league as Nicole?

Thanking you for your kind cooperation,

khmerhit Cool

Well I could just post a reply, thus making the thread appear more happening to those viewing the GD topics page. And I won't mention Capergir. Promise.

"She's mine. Do you hear me. Mine"

ps - you could play six degrees of seperation from NK with your class. Get them used to different uses of 'same' and different sorts of relationships.

Dear stillnosheep,

That's a good one - I'm sure Nikki will be highly amused when I tell her.

Actually, I read somewhere that Nicole was considering a career as an EFL teacher before she finally decided on becoming an actress. And I can speak with authority being a fellow Australian!

But, in fact, Nicole wasn't born in Australia. She born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on June 20, 1967 and moved to Australia when she was 4 years old.

Her first movie was called A Bush Christmas, which can be seen on Australian TV EVERY Christmas.

Cheers

If I was meaner of spirit then I might say that NK is a rat-faced shrew, so it's a good thing that I'm not.

A few months ago I caught the latter half of an Australian movie starring Nicole Kidman on Japanese TV. She played a pop star who fell in love with an up and coming surfer. It was really aweful, but Nicole was very cute. I have no idea as to what the title was.
