Dear All,
I will be completing my MEd in Applied Linguistics through the Open University next year my question is will employers in the Gulf region be put off by the fact that I have completed it long-distance? I already have a LLB degree and a CELTA.
Thanking you in advance.

Many employers in the Middle East will not recognise degree gained through distance learning. |

I've had the same degree since 2002
The only time there has been a specific issue was with Jeddah University about three years ago; during the interview they mentioned that payment could not be linked to this degree. Otherwise, I have worked in Kuwait, Oman and KSA.

Neither one of you can do PMs until you have 5 posts.

Could also mention someone else I met with the same degree - running an English assessment centre for one of the public corporations in KSA. |
